Typographic Variable explores the tension between two contrasting voices: the dramatic elegance of Bodoni and the geometric clarity of Avenir. Inspired by Robert Bringhurst’s The Elements of Typographic Style, this series of thirty-five compositions examines typographic transformation across seven distinct visual states.
Here, typography is the medium for conversation. The composition deliberately orchestrates the interaction between the two distinct voices, creating a dynamic space where their ideas converge and build upon each other. This visual dialogue invites readers to reflect on making with heart, embracing imperfection, and the pursuit of a meaningful creative practice.
